Definitions

The development web app is TobysTech (pty.) ltd.

The client is any client using a product from Tobystech (pty.) ltd.

Key Points

• The development web app shall not be held liable for any costs resulting from data loss, cybersecurity issues, or unexpected billing.
• The development web app retains intellectual property rights of it's codebase, excluding code written by a client for which the client retains intellectual property rights.

Cybersecurity

The development web app system aims to improve the client experience, however it remains the client's responsibility to review the final output and to test the output for security vulnerabilities.

Additionally, while the development web app aims to assist with billing control, it remains the client's responsibility to review billing with any respective third party and to shut down API keys should billing increase unexpectedly.

While the development web app assists with data safety, it remains the client's responsibility to ensure that backups are kept secure. Client can create their own additional backups for critical business data.

Intellectual Propery

The development web app retains all rights to any tools and automated processes that it builds. The development web app is not obligated to provide indefinate access or support for these tools even if a client has previously used these tools.

The client retains the right to any code that the client wrote on the development web app and may use this codebase even after migrating away from the development web app.
